Mandy Beckwith of Corvus Graphics assisted me with a film project for the Institute of Physics. She contributed greatly to the success of the project and I would very much like to work with her again.

We used Corvus Graphics to redesign the cover of our Ilkley Concert Club Annual Brochure. In recent years we have sold all 476 seats as Season Tickets before the Season – our Brochure is our most important sales tool.

The previous cover was looking very stale and boring. My brief to Mandy Beckwith at Corvus was to provide a striking new front and back page that reflected the extremely high quality of the Concerts that the Club promotes. We had been provided with some excellent photos of the interior of The King's Hall, our beautiful Georgian concert venue, by Barry Wilkinson of Ilkley. I particularly wanted a photo of the inside of the Hall to feature on the cover.

Mandy responded to my brief with some very good ideas. In discussion, she and I selected the ones that went into the final design, which she then completed very rapidly, liaising with the printer to ensure that there were no problems. The brochure conveys a very high quality image of the Club. We have had a number of complimentary comments about it and, yes, we sold out again.

I know where to come when I need a logo for myself now!
